it's the first time in ages i am blogging, but hey i am (:
i cut my hair after a 5 months of not doing it... alright, so it was 6 months but well. heh. jacky did a good job. i like the back of my head.
there's such a great burden on my heart..
our CG needs to be a team.
was watching Remembering the Titans today with Ivan and the rest of the leaders. i love how they were a team - a real, solid team, who stuck through the hard times and the good times together. Who were a team in camp and a team when the whole world was against them.
The leadership of Gerry Bertier was exactly the kind of leadership that inspires people.. to take that first step of faith and be the one to pull the whole team together...
just like what Ivan's email said, loving the work you do, even if it's difficult or it's tiring.
i'm so set on building this CG.
i'm so set on growing B40.
we will grow... i know we will. i can see it. i will not be discouraged.
i'm going to build the foundations, build a team that not just plays to win, but plays with love, with integrity, with loyalty and with tenacity.
20 for 40.
i see it. lives getting changed by the power of God.
at the end of the day, it all comes back to Him.
i love the work that i'm doing. it's not just a job to me, not just the motion but every life is a life that has the potential to be used by God for amazing things - an uncut diamond.
i so love Dark Knight. it's a movie we all gotta watch as a CG. yeah man, next week lets go! haha.
the first good movie i've watched in a long time - it's a reflection of true courage and paying the price.
